I only put a thing on this shelf after I have lived with it long enough to know what annoys me about it.
There is a moment in the late afternoon when the sun comes through the window at just the right angle, and you can see everything floating in the air of your own living room. Dust from the rug. Lint from the laundry. Whatever came in on the breeze when you opened the door for the mail.
You cannot scrub the air the way you scrub a countertop. That is the whole reason a machine like this exists: it pulls the room through three layers of filter, over and over, so that what is floating has somewhere to land other than your furniture.
I asked for two things when I went looking. That it be honest about what it filters, with a real H13 rating and not a vague promise. And that it be quiet enough to leave on overnight without anyone noticing it is there.

How often does the filter need changing?
About every six months with daily use. The indicator light on the dial tells you before you have to think about it, and the replacement two-pack is on the shelf here.
Is it loud?
On sleep mode it runs at about 24 decibels, which is quieter than most refrigerators. On the highest speed you will hear it, the way you hear a fan.
Can I leave it on all night?
Yes. It is built for continuous running, and the timer is there if you would rather it stop on its own.
